Renamon
With just a bit of my own style flavoring.

And with it I'd like to link to a journal entry made by =Atraius [link] which at least partially inspired this. There are good reasons to do you own characters, but there's also merit in fanart.

Back in the way olden days of my color pencil work, I used to have a blaze of bright white light on the side. I've been feeling burnt out of my digital style, so I figured I'd try incorporating that into my digital work. I didn't take this one quite so fully white because it didn't work with the shading I had already done, and this worked out quite nicely anyway. But I did see what I need to do to pull out a much brighter band, so that should be fun again when I finally implement it.
